Beware the Ides of March
I started working at Margot's on 15th March 1996 , so here we are 11 years later.
What's changed? The kitchen..nothing left from the original, apart from the ceiling and a butter knife.We have 2 kids now, a bigger overdraft and i'm a couple of stone heavier.
The restaurant..again nothing is the same as 11 years ago, but some dishes on the menu haven't changed ,Confit of duck, sticky toffee pudding.
Same attitude, work hard, have fun and cook like you mean it.
Here's to another 11 years.
I found an old menu from the early years ,sometime between 93 and 96 before i started.
THIS IS AN OLD MENU...PLEASE DON'T ASK FOR IT..
